This woman in her 40s had become increasing frustrated by her tired appearance as a consequence of changes around his lower eyelids with swelling and bags. She had lost trust in medical treatments after having a failed non-surgical treatment to her lower eyelids that had worsened the appearance of her lower eyelids and cause darkened skin. She was very anxious about undergoing eyelid surgery in view of her previous experience.

She came to see Dr De Silva as a specialist in facial plastic surgery, and underwent lower blepharoplasty (hidden incision) with volume augmentation (Fat transfer) and laser skin resurfacing. The result shown after surgery shows a refreshed more youthful appearance, yet natural with no signs of surgery.
