It really was a refinement she was looking for, more refined tip, smaller and no hump. Rhinoplasty is a surgery of millimetres, and refinement rhinoplasty is often more challenging as it is all about the real fine details. It is important that a patient appreciate your nose can be improved however perfection is very difficult to obtain. Although about 50% of rhinoplasty is technical detail and measurements the other 50% is artistic licence that is difficult to objectively measure. I completed my signature rhinoplasty, septoplasty under sedation anaesthesia. Wow! she had an amazing result, natural, feminine and in proportion to the rest of her face. She was very grateful for a stunning result!

I completed a thorough evaluation of her nose as patients with deviated nose nead a cautious approach to evaluate the septum and breathing, the function of your nose is as important as the appearance. I completed my signature natural rhinoplasty with septoplasty and otoplasty. I used some of the cartilage from her septum as graft material to make her nose straighter and improve her breathing, termed spreader grafts. There was notable asymmetry of her bones and she needed osteotomies to improve this. Piezo ultrasound technology can be used to reduce the bones a controlled way. With her ears there were two parts to improving the shape of ears, reducing the volume of cartilage in the ear and enhancing a crease at the top of ear to tuck the ears in. Your ears are made out of cartilage with a memory so they want to go back to their original shape, care is required to ensure they stay as they are in their new position. I am sure you agree she looks absolutely great, natural and beautiful in every way possible.
